ICM Final -- more reflections

This is the version of the ICM final sketch that I presented in class. I limited the search threads to 2: #sadmovie and #funnymovie, and instead of breaking the tweets up into individual random words, in this version, you can read the tweet. The fading effect is by adding a very faintly drawn rectangle in the draw loop, thus making it fade. It looks fine on the computer screen but as I presented it in class, it didn't fade as well as I'd like. It is something I intend to tweak later. Here is a video of the final version:

I feel that I learned a lot doing this project: working with an API is never easy and it was challenging, but ultimately rewarding, to figure out how to use the API as well as the library associated with it. I am also glad to be able to experiment more with Strings. While I personally never really connected with Processing, as I think I never figured out the best way to utilize it, this is something I intend to keep working on during break and see how I could make the best out of this sketch.
